Dr. Erickson and his wife Karen have 3 children, Matthew, Nathan, and Elizabeth.  His wife Karen, is a High School English teacher.  Dr. Erickson ran in the 2009 Grandma's Marathon and the 10 mile in Twin Cities Marathon in 2010.  He enjoys golfing and spending time at the lake boating and fishing.
